Australian Technical College Enters Record Third Year

As the Australian Technical College rolls into its third year of School based Apprentice intakes, McCosker are extremely pleased to see a record number of applicants for 2009 and are thrilled continue their support for the college.

McCosker are passionate believers in strengthening and nurturing the growth of the local talent and through combined focus have forged a formidable partnership with the ATC and their staff. Janelle Noonan, the Industry Liaison Officer at ATC has thanked McCosker "for their
on-going commitment" stating that she is "proud along with the students of the results and success already achieved."

Janelle attributes the Colleges success to their flexible “two weeks on, two weeks off work structure”.  This allows students to simultaneously finish their schooling and work towards a trade. Rod Marriage  from McCosker is a firm believer in the program stating that “ The Australian Technical College is the ultimate choice hands down. The teaching and student commitment is exceptional and the process is hassle free. McCosker pride themselves on staying local and are committed to growing and assisting the Technical College in the future.”

McCosker frequently provide practical support to the ATC through talks, inductions and work experience placements. Recently all 110 students took part in the McCosker Safety Induction where McCosker Health and Safety Officers introduced the importance of Zero Harm to students and their fellow work mates. All students passed the induction and are now one step closer to entering the workforce and gaining professional qualifications.

If you would like to become a industry partner with the Technical College, please contact Janelle Noonan 0429 498 107 for further details.
