This position will work collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders including executives, senior leaders and site leaders to support achievement of project goals and operational priorities. This position will:Work collaboratively with project alliance partners and local community stakeholders to establish skill development and training programs. Coach and develop site leaders to effectively manage people and daily work outcomes.Manage the projects HR/IR team, providing opportunities for on-the-job development and coaching.Provide accurate and sound HR/IR advice to leaders and other key stakeholders. Accurately interpret and apply legislation, NES, awards, and certified agreement conditions.Conduct and oversee workplace investigations, grievances/issues, performance and disciplinary matters.Oversee and contribute to the management of recruitment and selection, performance management, and other relevant people programs.Identify continuous improvements in programs and practices and through a consultative approach with key stakeholders, design and implement solutions. Develop and prepare relevant analytics and reporting for the Alliance Management Team and other stakeholders as required.Contribute to other operational goals and activity as may be reasonably required from time to time.To be successful you will have:Degree qualification in Human Resources Management or similar (recommended)Minimum 5 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and educationExperience in strategic and operational human resources managementExperience developing and delivering programs and practices across the end-to-end employee lifecycleComprehensive understanding of the industrial relations framework (legislative, case law, awards, certified agreement)Able to liaise, mediate and negotiate with a range of stakeholders, including at all levels of managementExperience in the day-to-day supervision and development of diverse teamsExpertise in communication, influencing, and problem solving skillsExperience in contributing to project design and implementationKnowledge of change management principlesThis is a long term contract opportunity with significant potential for growth and development in this role, with potential for ongoing employment opportunities.This position will be required to travel and work onsite to support site leaders and employees. About the role
