About the role

Reporting to the Contracts Administrator and Project Manager, this position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation of the project the project works and engaging with site leaders, the business and other key stakeholders to achieve the projects and business goals.

  • Weipa, QLD 4874
  • Roster - 3 weeks on, 1 week off (roster may vary for locals)
  • Commencement: April

The Project Management Department is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Coordinating flights and accommodation
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Reconciliation of invoices to orders
  • Daily activity sheets (including timesheets)
  • Establishing, controlling and maintaining effective filing systems and records
  • Efficiently preparing and managing a variety of correspondence
  • Other relevant duties as may be required from time to time; and
  • General administration duties for the project team.

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience in administration
  • Experience in the construction industry (desirable)
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent time management, workload prioritisation, organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position performs a crucial role in coordinating all administrative aspects of the project.
